Hailie was born and raised in Nova Scotia and has always had a love for animals. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her two dogs Ella and Phantom, exploring new places, and getting in some equine love at the barn.

Hailie is always searching for more knowledge involving dogs and horses. Hailie comes to Jollytails with 2 years experience in the pet industry.

Jorginea was born and raised in Seaforth, NS. She completed her bachelor in Environment Science at SMU in 2021. Since then has been finding her way in the working world! 

She is excited to take on this position at Jollytails because she loves animals especially dogs and always wants them to being their best lives! 

In her spare time she enjoys spending time outdoors with her doggo Otis, caring for her house plants, and playing sports.

Lee was hatched in Ontario but was raised in Hammonds Plains, Nova Scotia. Pets have been a crucial part of their upbringing (from poodles to gerbils). They always love making best friends with animals and adores working with them.

Emmy, Lee’s 4-legged sister, is an adorable Standard Poodle that agrees that Lee is one cool cat…um.. Dog? Lee graduated from SMU with a Bachelor of Commerce yet has always known animals would somehow be a part of their future! Lee is a creative individual, they love drawing and crafts! In their free time, they are an affiliate Twitch streamer!

They love playing video games, Dungeons & Dragons, and other nerdy games! However, most importantly they love DAD JOKES….. Why was the dog stealing shingles?.......He wanted to become a WOOFER!

Jenny grew up in small town Bass River, Nova Scotia. She has owned and loved animals her whole life. She has always had a passion for working with animals. Jenny recently graduated from MBC and is now a Registered Veterinary Assistant, beginning her career at Jollytails.

When Jenny is not at work she is spending time with her dog, cat, family & friends. Jenny also enjoys adventures around Nova Scotia, fishing and spending time at her cottage.

Born in Vancouver and raised in Halifax!  Sarah is crazy about animals and when she was a kid she would always tell people she would work with them someday. 

Sarah has a digital marketing background but working with dogs is her true passion! 

In her spare time Sarah teaches her cat tricks and does stand up comedy around the city (and is pretty hilarious)!

Amy was born and raised in Moncure, North Carolina in the United States and moved to Nova Scotia in 2023 to be with her Husband.

She's always loved animals more than life itself, knowing that if the career didn't have animals, it wasn't for her.

Before moving to Nova Scotia, she had a pet sitting business for 9 years, volunteered training service dogs, worked at a training and boarding facility and began her education in dog grooming.

Amy left her family dog at home, but is eager to adopt a dog of her own soon!

When Amy is not working, she enjoys crocheting plushies and playing video games.

Sydney has been obsessed with animals for as long as she can remember. She has always had all kinds of animals in her home. She loves getting to meet all their quirky personalities.

Sydney recently graduated high school. It has been her dream to work with pets. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her goofball dog, Cooper. They enjoy going for drives, walks and hikes, or sometimes going for a swim.

Imogen was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia and never left. With a love for animals and video games she's either loving her cat Octavia or her Husky/ Lab Pepper. In her spare time Imogen plays Dungeons and Dragons in person or online and organises games for queer folks who want to learn and meet new people. 

Katie was born and raised in Newfoundland. She moved to Dartmouth in August 2022 to start the dental hygiene program at Dalhousie University. 

Katie has always had a love and passion for all animals. She has a hamster named Basil and recently adopted a dog, Daisy. Growing up, Katie always had family pets and did dog sitting for residents in her small community. She is so excited to be a part of the Jollytails team and to gain more knowledge. 

When not studying or working, Katie likes to take Daisy for walks and explore different hiking trails that HRM has to offer. In the summer time, Katie loves to go snorkelling and beach combing with her partner.

Katrina grew up next to the ocean in beautiful Lawrencetown, Nova Scotia. She has been grooming for almost four years right here in HRM. She started out her career with Jollytails when the new Dartmouth location opened, and has been receiving many repeat grooming clients since she joined our team. Katrina is the proud pet mom of Borat the Chihuahua mix, Ty the Min Pin mix, Addy the Yorkie mix and Biggie the Rabbit.

When she isn’t grooming (and snuggling) your dogs, she can be found spending time with her husband, going on all sorts of adventures across the beautiful province.

Ida moved to Nova Scotia in 2018 from St. John’s, Newfoundland where she owned her own grooming shop for over five years. She genuinely loves grooming dogs, and can often be heard singing to them while she works.
