National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, September 30, 2021
Jollytails wishes to recognize this first Truth and Reconciliation day in Canada.
While we remain open today for those workers that rely on our services - we have made a $2000.00 donation to the Native Women's Association of Canada to support the great work that they do (https://www.nwac.ca/).
We believe in action and change for our Indigenous people in Canada.
JOLLYTAILS SPCA FUNDRAISER, APRIL 14-APRIL 30, 2021
Thank you to our wonderful generous clients! We BEAT our $5000 SPCA fundraising target.
Jollytails promised to donate an extra $5000. With your help, we are able to donate a grand total of $10,287.78 to the Nova Scotia SPCA.
Our goal was to raise money to assist in the care for the 77 dogs in-need recently rescued. So happy with everyone's generosity. I'm not crying! You're crying!

Support Local - Restaurant Gift Certificate Give-Away, February 2021
We want to thank everyone for supporting us and feeding your best friends the best of foods! For the month of January, every bag or box of food purchased at Jollytails, clients were given a ballot to enter to win a $100 gift card to your favourite local restaurant! We were planning on drawing 10 lucky winners but decided - what the heck, let’s draw 12 instead!

Jollytails is thrilled to support the LGBTQ+ community. We proudly sponsor Halifax Pride, taking part in the parade and community events. Jollytails partnered with Halifax Pride to bring you Pride's FIRST Dog Show (The Jollytails SO FETCH Pet Show) in 2014, 2015 and again in 2016. The event is so popular we look forward to doing it yearly!
Edmonton Humane Society
Our hearts go out to Fort McMurray. Jollytails made a $1000.00 donation to the Edmonton Humane Society for assistance toward the animals impacted by the wildfires. We are so saddened by these events but also we feel fortunate to be able to offer this small helping gesture.
Altantic Small Dog Rescue
Our little dog socials have been a smashing success ! We are proudly donating all profit from our kick-off socials to the Atlantic Small Dog Rescue.
Cosmic Drag Queen Bingo
When the lovely Scott (Contessa) Bosse asked us to donate a prize for Cosmic Drag Queen Bingo in support of Laing House, we said, oh heck yes! We put together a big basket full of pet goodies for a wonderful event in support of an even more wonderful cause... and we continue to donate to the wonderful cause!
PTSD Service Dog Fundraiser for Mental Health Nova Scotia
Jollytails was proud to present a $3000.00 cheque to the Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia. Over the course of December 2014, we asked our wonderful clients to donate to this cause in lieu of bringing gifts and treats for our staff. Our customers donated $2000! We added another $1000 to this cause.
