Independent grooming with care and confidence
Jollytails is looking for an experienced professional groomer who can deliver high-quality services safely and ethically in a busy salon. You will work from client specifications, communicate clearly, and make the dog’s comfort and wellbeing central to every appointment.
What you will do
Professional service from consultation to checkout
- Provide the full range of grooming services requested by clients while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
- Discuss coat condition, comfort, behaviour, health observations, and grooming concerns with clients.
- Use Jollytails pricing guidance and communicate any necessary price changes before completing the service.
- Accommodate special requests when they remain humane and do not cause excessive stress.
- Educate clients about between-groom care and recommend appropriate retail products.
- Maintain grooming tables, tubs, dryers, tools, and work areas in a clean and organized condition.
- Coordinate schedules, pricing, client notes, and checkout details with the front-desk team and manager.
- Be dependable, punctual, and ready for scheduled appointments.
Required experience
A practising, job-ready groomer
Candidates must already have the professional skill and experience to groom dogs independently. Accreditation and/or demonstrated professional experience is required. Jollytails does not provide foundational groomer training for this role.
