Training pathway

Interested in becoming a professional dog trainer?

Jollytails also offers information about a hands-on Dog Training & Behaviour Consultant Apprenticeship. The program combines lectures, structured study, case work, one-on-one training, and experience assisting with live group classes.

  • A 12-week commitment with approximately six hours each week
  • Dog behaviour, learning theory, play, leash skills, and case studies
  • Class shadowing, assisting, and opportunities to practise leading
  • Designed to help participants work toward independent CPDT-KA certification
