Paws for a Cause

During the Jollytails Bunny Bash, groomer Katrina donated her time for $10 nail trims benefiting Misfit Manor Dog Rescue. Jollytails matched the community’s contributions, doubling the fundraiser’s impact.

Rescue support

A rest stop for rescued huskies

Jollytails welcomed seven rescued Siberian husky puppies from Litter n Critters Rescue, giving them a safe place to stretch, play, and decompress before travelling to their foster homes.

Nova Scotia SPCA · 2021

$10,287.78 raised and donated

Customers helped Jollytails exceed a $5,000 fundraising goal for 77 dogs in need. Jollytails added a matching contribution to bring the total donation to $10,287.78.

Truth and Reconciliation · 2021

Supporting Indigenous women

Jollytails donated $2,000 to the Native Women’s Association of Canada in recognition of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

Mental health

Supporting service-dog work

A customer-supported fundraiser contributed $3,000 to the Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia in support of PTSD service-dog initiatives.

Halifax Pride · 2014–2016

Proud community participation

Jollytails supported Halifax Pride and partnered with the organization to present its first dog show, the Jollytails SO FETCH Pet Show.

Animal relief

Helping animals affected by wildfire

Jollytails donated $1,000 to the Edmonton Humane Society to assist animals affected by the Fort McMurray wildfires.

Local organizations

Many causes, one community

Past support has included the Nova Scotia SPCA, HomeBridge Youth Society, the Sunshine Foundation of Canada, the Military Family Resource Centre, Symphony Nova Scotia, local schools, and animal rescues.
