Meet our Dartmouth Team

Amanda Terrell, DAYCARE SUPERVISOR

Amanda grew up in New Jersey and moved to Canada in the summer of 2013. Since she was a child she had a love for animals of all shapes and sizes, however, dogs always held a special place in her heart. She has been eager to work with dogs for as long as she can remember, so becoming a member of the Jollytails team makes getting up to go to work a breeze. Sadly at the moment, Amanda doesn't own a dog of her own but wishes to own one within the near future and love it unconditionally.

BRITTANY Schneider

Brittany moved to Halifax in the fall of 2016 from Victoria, BC.Born and raised in small mountain town Canmore, Alberta, Britt loves the outdoors and any activity that gets her outside. Brittany graduated from the University of Calgary in 2008 with a Bachelor of Kinesiology. She has since worked in the group fitness and personal training fields in various cities before settling in Halifax. Britt grew up with cats, and until this past winter had missed out on the love and joy that belonging to a dog brings. She lives with her boyfriend, Dave, and her soul dog, Sherman (pictured.) Don't let the jowls fool you, he is a happy sweetheart!

Ainslie Isnor

Ainslie grew up surrounded by pets. She always had a passion for caring for animals, especially dogs (including her German Wirehaired Pointer, Splash, and her roommates' Boxer, Jax). She has spent a lot of time volunteering for ElderDog Canada. After graduating from Dalhousie University with a B.Sc. in Biology, she decided Jollytails would be the perfect place to follow her passion and is very excited to be working with the dogs in the daycare.

Jessica Wilson

Jessica brings with her to Jollytails a couple years of previous dog daycare and training experience. She is also a volunteer and foster for a local dog rescue, where she ended up foster failing for her dog Brooklynn. When Jessica isn’t at work you can find her hiking and walking different trails with her energetic dog.

Samantha Baker

Samantha has spent her life in Eastern Passage. She has always had a love for dogs, but unfortunately had a busy family life as a child and did not have time for a pet. As soon as she had her own place Samm and her boyfriend got their first dog. A handsome pit Leo. Two years later Chev the dogo flew all the way from Europe to join their family. Samm loves spending her time out in the woods with her boys running free. As part of the new Burnside team Samantha is excited to meet so many new pups and gain more knowledge on our furry companions.

Jenna Buckley

Jenna has had such a passion for all animals especially dogs since she was blessed to have owned a dog her entire life. Jenna is new to the doggy daycare world however she has had many years of caring for and looking after dogs in her hometown of Labrador City! She also had the pleasure to job shadow a dog trainer back home and has learned some important skills in puppy and dog training. While completing an Animal Science degree at Dalhousie's Agricultural Campus, she gained knowledge and experience with many different animals that has only helped her realize that working with animals is how she wants to dedicate her career. She is so excited to be a part of the Jollytails team and looks forward to spending my days loving and spending time with the dogs as well as working with great people.

Nikki Vidal

Nikki is new to Dartmouth this year, joining us all the way from Moncton, NB. Although she is new to the daycare world, she has had plenty of opportunities to work with animals of all shapes and sizes throughout the years in the clinic setting as well as an Animal Science Major from Dalhousie University. She is very excited to start this new adventure and to fall for all the wonderful dogs that come to Jollytails. It didn’t take very long as you can see with Lola featured above!
