Meet our Dartmouth Team

BRONWYN, SENIOR manager

Bronwyn was born and raised right here, in Nova Scotia, and always had pets growing up. She has been working in the doggy daycare/pet retail industries for over ten years and has been working at Jollytails since early 2016. She loves talking about dog food, so if you’re ever looking for a dog food nerd to chat with, she’s your girl!

When Bronwyn isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her Australian Shepherds, Lennox & Suri, Aria the Papillon, Luca the Akita and Jujube the cat! Bronwyn and her dogs enjoy competing in conformation, sprinter, rally obedience and barn hunt but their favorite thing of all is going for hikes in the middle of nowhere with Dog Dad!

Lee, customer service rep

Lee was hatched in Ontario but was raised in Hammonds Plains, Nova Scotia. Pets have been a crucial part of their upbringing (from poodles to gerbils). They always love making best friends with animals and adores working with them.

Emmy, Lee’s 4-legged sister, is an adorable Standard Poodle that agrees that Lee is one cool cat…um.. Dog? Lee graduated from SMU with a Bachelor of Commerce yet has always known animals would somehow be a part of their future! Lee is a creative individual, they love drawing and crafts! In their free time, they are an affiliate Twitch streamer!

They love playing video games, Dungeons & Dragons, and other nerdy games! However, most importantly they love DAD JOKES….. Why was the dog stealing shingles?.......He wanted to become a WOOFER!

kelsey, customer service rep

Kelsey is a passionate animal lover born and raised in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. With nearly a decade of experience in the pet care industry, she has developed a deep understanding and appreciation for animals of all kinds.

Over the years, Kelsey has become particularly involved in the world of dogs, participating in conformation shows and various dog sports, while also dedicating time to training classes to further her expertise. At home, Kelsey is surrounded by her beloved pets.

She shares her life with two dogs, Millie and Ever, who are her loyal companions in both work and play. Her household is also home to two lively conures, Rio and Piper, who bring color and joy to her days. Rounding out her animal family is Bentley, a cat who adds a touch of calm and curiosity to the mix.

In her free time, Kelsey enjoys unwinding with a good book or simply relaxing at home, always in the company of her pets. Her life is a testament to her unwavering love for animals, and she continues to enrich her knowledge and skills in the pet care field.

Sarah, daycare supervisor

Born in Vancouver and raised in Halifax!  Sarah is crazy about animals and when she was a kid she would always tell people she would work with them someday.

Sarah has a digital marketing background but working with dogs is her true passion!

In her spare time Sarah teaches her cat tricks and does stand up comedy around the city (and is pretty hilarious)!

Sydney, Daycare Attendant

Sydney has been obsessed with animals for as long as she can remember. She has always had all kinds of animals in her home. She loves getting to meet all their quirky personalities.

Sydney recently graduated high school. It has been her dream to work with pets. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her goofball dog, Cooper. They enjoy going for drives, walks and hikes, or sometimes going for a swim.

jordan, daycare attendant

Jordan grew up in Lunenburg, NS and moved to the Dartmouth for school. While obtaining her Bachelor’s of Science she decided to work with dogs because of her continuing love and passion for them.

When not at work she’s spending time with her dog Empire probably at the beach, hiking or hanging out reading. Empire is a foster fail…. or win! Empire is more then happy to call every person his best friend as long as your willing to give belly rubs. You can always find Empire ether zooming around over a stick, seaweed or snow or fast asleep. If you see him don’t forget that belly rub!

Dariya, Daycare Attendant

Dariya was born in Kazakhstan, a country that’s over 14 hours away from Canada by plane. She’s been in Canada for about five years now, with two of those spent in college. Her love of dogs and her dream of working with them is what brought her to Jollytails—and maybe missing her beloved border collie, Boston, who stayed back in Kazakhstan, had something to do with it too!

When Dariya’s not at Jollytails, she loves hanging out with friends, playing board games, and just having a great time. She’s always up for an adventure—whether it’s hiking, heading to the beach, or enjoying some solo time outdoors!

Alexandra, Daycare Attendant

Give a Jollytails welcome to Alexandra! Anytime Alexandra was asked what she wanted to be when she grew up she said, “a zookeeper or a vet!”, but that didn’t go to plan. She took a Bachelors of Science at MSVU, then a Bachelors of Education at Acadia University.

Animals have always played a big part of her upbringing - from hamsters, to bunnies, to rats or cats. She’s spent over two decades living in Eastern Passage & during her time in Wolfville, she started pet sitting which furthered her love for dogs. When she’s not working she enjoys; crafting, baking, modelling/photography, as well as spending time with her 4 cats, and hamster, Bean.

Katrina grew up next to the ocean in beautiful Lawrencetown, Nova Scotia. She has been grooming for almost four years right here in HRM. She started out her career with Jollytails when the new Dartmouth location opened, and has been receiving many repeat grooming clients since she joined our team. Katrina is the proud pet mom of Borat the Chihuahua mix, Ty the Min Pin mix, Addy the Yorkie mix, Julep the Yellow Lab and Biggie the Rabbit.

When she isn’t grooming (and snuggling) your dogs, she can be found spending time with her husband, going on all sorts of adventures across the beautiful province.

Cayden also has a deep interest in pet health and nutrition, always seeking the best ways to keep his dogs happy, healthy, and thriving. He’s passionate about educating himself and others on proper care and feeding, ensuring that every dog has the best chance for a long, healthy life. Julia, Socials Attendant

With over 15 years of experience working in bustling dog daycares and now thriving in a veterinary clinic, Julia brings a lifetime of passion and care to every pup she meets. From a young age, her heart has belonged to dogs, and her beloved companion Mina—her "heart dog"—is never far from her side, along with their five other furry family members.

Julia enjoys caring for puppies and small dogs, ensuring each one feels safe, loved, and understood. When she's not surrounded by wagging tails, you’ll find her curled up with a good book, walking with her pack, or enjoying quality time with her wife and close friends.
